I stayed at an expensive Radisson SAS hotel in Birmingham, UK and every time I left the hotel I had beggars ?

and drunks asking me money, sometimes threateningly, right outside the entrance, at least 7 times in 2 days. I t ruined my stay. Should hotels warn potential guests about this, or at least take some responsibilty?

Or do tourist boards have a system whereby they collect this data and post it on their website so tourists can avoid those areas? I stayed at an expensive Radisson SAS hotel in Birmingham, UK and every time I left the hotel I had beggars ?
You really should complain to the hotel manager. He/she will not want potential guests put off and will probably inform the local police.I stayed at an expensive Radisson SAS hotel in Birmingham, UK and every time I left the hotel I had beggars ?
A hotel generally only ever has to pre warn customers about issues within the building or their grounds. For example internal maintenance re-decoration, potential noise from workmen etc, where they will usually offer you a better deal for any inconvenience. They have no such obligation to warn of issues outside of their control, traffic, road works, beggars etc. The hotels view is to always sell on the good points and not the bad points, you are highly unlikely to get much joy if you make a complaint.
How can this ruin your stay, you just walked past them and nothing else.
