I want to know if Radisson Hotels & Resorts in Cricklewood, London job appliation is a fraud or scam?

I received a job contract from Radisson Hotels %26amp; Resorts located in Cricklewood Lane 1005, London NW2 1HN, England, UK, but I want to ensure whether this is true and not a scam or fraud. They provided me an agency named England Border Agency LLC (Tel No. 0044 703 5941623 and Fax No. 0044 207 0221712 and their emails: eba_england@live.com as well as eba_england@mail.md) who mentioned that I have to have the working permit and residence visa to be processed from them and I have to pay GBP605 as processing fee. They said that this amount will be reimbursed back to the company after I start joining the company. They also provided me the Entry Visa/Residence Permit Form to be filled up, but I have tried to contact the HR Personnel of the said hotel (0044 703 5946366) but the number was unobtainable. I have sent couple of emails to the hotel, but no reply (radisson.england@gmail.com). I am wondering before I process the papers they required if this hotel totally exisiting. I have tried to open the website (www.radissonhotels.fr.gb) and it opened once, but on the following day, this website was not existing anymore. I would appreciate if someone can assist me of finding if this hotel is really exisiting or not.

Thank you for all the help and I look forward a reply from someone who is really have a good heart to help meI want to know if Radisson Hotels %26amp; Resorts in Cricklewood, London job appliation is a fraud or scam?
You are definitely being scammed. Even though you may not be able to get through on it, the type of telephone number provided is often used in ';Advance Fee'; scams, and the fact that you have been asked for 拢650 confirms that it is a 419 scam...see below for more details...

This link involves a scam job offer for Radisson Hotels in Dubai...

http://archive.gulfnews.com/indepth/labo鈥?/a>

This excerpt from the following link tells you about that type of telephone number...

';Scam phone numbers in the United Kingdom (+44):

Most ';419'; scams using +44 70xx numbers involve emails that are sent from Nigeria and other West African countries, not from the UK! If you see a +44 70xx number in a 419 scam email it usually means you're dealing with criminals based in Nigeria.

UK phone numbers starting with '70' are ';Personal numbering'; in the ';Find me anywhere'; range. Charges for calls to these numbers are not distance-dependent. They can cost as much as UKL 0.50 (USD 0.90) per minute to call and can forward the call to virtually any phone number in the world. Forwarding numbers can be set up for free and completely anonymously via websites such as uknumbers.com.

In most cases when you call one of these numbers the phone that starts ringing will actually be a mobile phone somewhere in Nigeria, as the UK number has been programmed to auto-forward calls to another number. These +44 70xx numbers are used as a redirector service to obscure the fact that the person taking the call is not actually based in Europe. The UK number is used to lend credibility to the scam.';

This a FAKE JOB SCAM.

Don't believe these kind of emails.

Whenever you are contacted by the employer, it will be from xxxx@companyname.com

and not companyname@gmail.com or companyname@live.com or companyname@yahoo.com

There is a Radisson in Cricklewood, but that clearly isn't from them. For one thing, the phone number you have been given is a mobile (cellphone), rather than an actually office number. And we don't write addresses with the number after the road in English.

And come on, no multinational hotel chain uses Gmail email addresses.

It's a scam.
I have the same situation as yours, i was already hired for a position of F%26amp;B Supervisor, and i contact the HR manager, Mr Jim and he told about the Visa and all of that, so where r u from? and what is your position? and i m also lost to know if that hotel is existing, try to check with the Radisson in your country,

waiting your reply

Their email address is gmail - Go figure.

No reputable company would use free email services such as gmail for their business purposes, nevermind the Radisson who are a huge chain.

You really must be very gullible if you even considered for a moment that this was genuine.....
Theirs not a radisson in cricklewood, and i know all the hotels in london.

Although there is no reason why some mickey mouse hotel can't call themselves it, so it smells fishy to me.
Please beware, Radisson are a well respected international organisation and they would never behave in this manner.
It definitely looks like a scam. I did a google search and there doesn't seem to be a Radisson hotel in Cricklewood Lane
raddison hotels is based in Dublin,Eire.they outsource their HR,but not to this agency!
Scam
its a scam..i live in cricklewood i know..trust me..
I live right near Cricklewood and as far as I know there's no Raddison there (its not the nicest area in London, so i'd be surprised if there was).

The only hotel of note in the area is the Cricklewood Crown Complex.

Sorry but this does look like a scam, those email addresses you have look slightly fishy so I'd stay right away from that if I was you.
After reading your question--and before reading the other answers--this shouted ';scam'; at me. A couple of things stood out:

*1* Radisson hotel chain is huge world-wide---why would they send out job offers this way? they don't need to--it's not even that easy to get a job there when YOU are chasing after them.

*2* They would not be asking for you to send them any money.

*3* I recently accepted an offer of employment and the employer is doing %26amp; paying for the background checks and the work permit. (I have to send for the entry clearance but I do that directly - not through the employer)

*4* Radisson would not use gmail--and any info they gave you would be verifiable on their website (their REAL website)

I don't know if there is such a location at Cricklewood, nor am I familiar with the mobile info --but others have cleared that up.

You are smart to have started checking this out--I'm sure others have gotten so excited over the offer that they jumped on it. The economy everywhere is making people do terrible things.
this sounds like a scam. No company, business asks money for processing visas. If they do, thats the first i have heard about it.

Contact the Hotel, they should be the ones to advise. If you can't get any contact with the England Border agency then perhaps you need to look elsewhere for employment.

there are Radisson Hotels all over, and many in London, but cannot find a listing for one in Cricklewood.

Where did you get the information from initially to either get employment or visa. And where do you live?
